The Royal Shakespeare
& Swan Theatres
Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6BB
The famous Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) became a reality in 1961 and was based in the specially built Royal Shakespeare Theatre built on the banks of the River Avon at Stratford-upon-Avon.
This iconic building has undergone refurbishment and the RSC invites visitors to explore its new home. There are free exhibition spaces to visit and places to eat and drink. You can take a guided tour and ascend the Tower for magnificent views over Shakespeare’s home town.
The Transformation Project has turned the Royal Shakespeare Theatre into a 1,040+ seat theatre with a thrust stage, and the Swan Theatre has a smaller thrust stage with an approximate 450 seat capacity.
For the complete Shakespeare experience attendance at a RSC performance is mandatory. Tickets can be remarkably affordable with special offers and discounts. Go to the official website Web: RSC Ticket portal link and use the 'Log In' to create your ticket account or Call the Ticket Hotline Tel: 01789 403 493.
