Royal Windsor Horse Show
The Royal Windsor Horse Show is held for five days in the beautiful private grounds of Windsor Castle in May or June each year. The first Royal Horse Show here was held on 27th May 1944 with King George VI as Patron.
Great Equestrian Events
Visitors get the chance to enjoy Windsor Home Park as well as seeing great equestrian events such as International Show Jumping and Dressage, Carriage Driving, Polo and special displays.
Over 200 Shops, Fun-fair and more
There are over 200 shops, a fun-fair and a 4 x 4 course. Events are conducted throughout the day and evening. The floodlit Royal Artillery display is very popular with children and adults alike. It is the perfect chance for visitors to glimpse the Royals in their own park.
The British Royal families are keen supporters and competitors in the horse show with The Duke of Edinburgh previously competing in the carriage driving competition.
There are plenty of food stalls selling organic burgers, sausages, sandwiches, ice creams and soft drinks. There are also bars licensed to sell alcohol. The Food and Drink Festival stalls sell ingredients to either take home or have as an instant picnic.
