This wonderful Bronze-Age hill figure cut in the chalk escarpment can hardly be called ‘hidden’ but it is certainly a ‘gem’ worth seeing.

The stylized horse appears to be galloping across the hillside at full tilt.  On clear days he can be seen from 20 miles (23 km) away leaping across the head of a dramatic dry valley in the Ridgeway escarpment.
