This Museum has always had a favourite hands-on collection, popular with children and adults alike. After its recent renovation, the old favourites are back with more than 1,000 extra items, new galleries, Museum Shop, Upper Deck Café & Bar, and a small picnic area.

The renovated museum tells the story of public transport and its role in the development of London over the last 200 years. All modes of transport are covered - walking, cycling, taxis and river transport as well as buses, trams and the Underground.

Heritage vehicles ranging from the first horse buses and Underground Steam trains, public transport in war, to modern buses, taxis and ferries are on display. If you can bear to, tear your eyes away from the fascinating exhibits admire the museum building itself. Built in 1872 the building is the original Covent Garden flower market building.

Museum Shop
The museum shop is located at the front of the museum in Covent Garden Piazza. There is no fee to visit the museum shop only.
