Fleet Air Arm Museum

Near the small Somerset village of Yeovilton is The Royal Fleet Air Arm Museum, one of south-west England's leading tourist attractions.
There are displays covering all facets of the Fleet Air Arm's operations from the early bi-planes to today's supersonic fighters as well as helicopters and the first British built Concorde airliner.
Aircraft Carrier Experience
An exciting display in Hall 3 is ‘Aircraft Carrier Experience’. Here the visitor can see Naval Aircraft in their natural home - on board an aircraft carrier at sea. On view are aircraft as diverse as the Westland Wessex HU5 helicopter, the Fairey Gannett and a McDonnell Phantom jet fighter. A unique exhibition.
As well, Special Exhibitions are held throughout the year. See the Museum’s website for details - link below.
The Fleet Air Arm Museum’s unique collection attracts visitors from all over the UK and from further afield. It is a 'Must See' for all with a love for unique aircraft. Allocate up to a day for this visit!
