St Ann’s Well Café is situated on the eastern slopes of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. It overlooks the attractive Victorian spa town of Great Malvern.

The cafe occupies part of the delightfully quaint St Ann's Well building and offers a modern, varied menu. The building dates back to 1813 and houses an elaborately carved Sicilian marble spout and basin in the Well Room, as well as the cafe.

The St Ann’s Well building is a welcome sight for visitors after toiling up the 99 steps from Rose Bank Gardens, Great Malvern but it can also be accessed by car and is a lovely tranquil spot to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, homemade cake or a light meal. Vegans and vegetarians are well catered for.

The 19th century teagardens were restored in 2006. The original fern leaf benches were re-created and the pond below the Well was restored. The spout and trough to the right of the well room was reconnected and named Old Moses Spout after one of the donkeys used by visitors to ride up to the well.

In fine weather patrons can enjoy their refreshments beside the lily pond in the garden, surrounded by ferns and flowering shrubs.

When going to the Cafe make sure you visit the Well Room to see the ornamental spout and trough, and then wander around the gardens to discover all the famous visitors who have come to St Ann’s Well to ‘take the waters’. You will be in good company – Princess (later Queen) Victoria, Lord Tennyson, Charles Darwin, Florence Nightingale and President George Bush have all enjoyed the facilities.
