The White Swan is a traditional, family-run public house situated in the village of Eardisland on the B4529 between Leominster and Kington. The village is part of the Black and White Village Trail, a 40 mile (65 km) journey around Herefordshire villages that are populated by timber framed buildings.
The White Swan dates from around the 17th century with 18th and 19th century additions. It has a large beer garden to the rear of the site and an adjacent car park. The pub has a micro-brewery and brews its own cask ales. On brewing day visitors able to have a look at the small brewery.
The White Swan is not a flashy pub but there is always a warm welcome and a cosy coal fire to warm yourself by in winter. Beside home-brewed ale the pub offers traditional pub games, live music and bar food.
Lunch is served from 12:00 - 14:30 hours
Dinner: 18:30 - 21:00 hours.
The pub regularly hosts events such as vintage car rallies and the Village Duck Race.
