St Crispin Inn Canterbury
The Street
Kent CT14 0DF
This is an old, village pub with excellent B & B accommodation in the quiet village of Worth, only a mile or so from the ancient Cinque Port town of Sandwich in south-east England.
Worth is a picturesque and quaint village, off the beaten track yet conveniently placed for visitors arriving through the cross-channel port of Dover.
The 15th century traditional pub is in the centre of the village. It is well known for its good and reasonably priced food.
The pub has a large secluded garden with a play area; there is a Bouncy Castle, swings and a slide. Children must be under parental supervision. There is a ‘Bat and Trap’ Pitch – ask the landlords about this ancient Kentish pub game which is undergoing a revival.
The Landlords and Staff at St Crispin’s are friendly and welcoming. The pub has an excellent and informative website well worth visiting.
