The Dartmoor Inn Dartmoor
Moorside
Lydford Village
Nr Okehampton
Devon EX20 4AY

The Dartmoor Inn is situated on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park, handy to the historic village of Lydford and Lydford Gorge (NT).

The owners have restored the old inn’s front to its original design. Look for the small peep hole in the side of the porch reputed to have been a spy hole used by Dartmoor prison warders to keep watch along the road when an escape had occurred from the prison at Princetown.

Luxurious B&B
The Inn is best known for its up market restaurant food but it has now added to its fame luxurious bed and breakfast. There are three double en-suite rooms available, all uniquely furnished in the owners’ inimitable style.

Dartmoor Inn caters for visitors wishing to spend time in the cosy pub bar sampling local ales and snacks, or a full blown gourmet meal in one of the restaurants.

Meals
The restaurant is made up of a series of cosy, stylish dining rooms, each with its own identity and with every endeavour taken to make your experience relaxed. The award-winning cooking is based on seasonal ingredients and much work has gone into forging links with local farmers and food artisans to ensure the best raw materials.
