Drake Manor Inn Buckland Monachorum
The Village
Devon PL20 7NA

The local pub in Buckland Monachorum is the Drake Manor Inn, originally built in the 12th century by the artisans working on the adjacent Church of St Andrew.

Fine Food & Real Ales
The pub is renowned for its fine food, real ales, extensive wine list and huge range of whiskies.

During summer and on weekends it is advisable to book ahead for a restaurant meal. Check the pub website for meal times and booking. On a warm summer’s day there is nothing like relaxing outdoors, listening to the stream tinkling at the bottom of the garden and sipping a welcome drink.

Take-away food such as fish and chips and locally made pasties is available from 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 21:30 every day.

Getting There
Buckland Monachorum village is not well served by public transport. There are regular bus services from Plymouth to Tavistock but local connections are few and far between. We would suggest using your own transport to visit this 'Premier Devon Pub'.

- By Car (recommended)
Take the A386 north from Plymouth towards Tavistock and at the Yelverton roundabout, head west towards Crapstone and then to Buckland Monachorum.
