A traditional folk festival held over three days in August. There is a lot to see and do and camping facilities are provided for those who wish to spend more than a day. 
The Dartmoor Folk Festival is a friendly traditional festival, with highlights including Ceilidh, Song & Music Sessions, Dartmoor Stepdance and Broomdance Championships.
You can enjoy Dartmoor Fayre, Craft Displays, Dances, Music Hall, a Sunday Ramble, a Folk Service, Pub Sessions and Children's Events. There are Sideshows, a Craft Tent, Demonstrations, Dance Displays, Children's Entertainers and much more.
Top Artists
The festival continues to attract some of the top national and local artists as guests, maintaining its reputation as one of the top events in the folk calendar. Camping is available in fields close to the festival site, with events taking place in the nearby village hall and playing fields.

Getting There
- By Car
Exit the A30 from Exeter to Okehampton at the B3260 exit just before Okehampton and return east towards Sticklepath and then to South Zeal.
