On arrival in the Welsh border town of Monmouth make your first stop the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) located in the foyer of the Grade I Listed Shire Hall in the centre of town.
The helpful staff have information on what to do, where to stay, places to eat, local attractions and what’s on in and around Monmouth, the Wye Valley and the Brecon Beacons.
Opening Times
From 1 April – 30 September: Daily.
Monday – Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00 hours.
From 1 October – 31 March:
Closed on Sundays. As the TIC is part of the historic Shire Hall, there is also a well stocked Gift Shop with local souvenirs, maps, books and brochures regarding Shire hall History and local attractions.

Getting There
Monmouth has a free car park at Cinderhill Street, NP25 5ES
Just behind the Shire Hall is a ‘Pay & Display’ Car Park on Glendower Street, NP25 3DF.
