“Children will love At-Bristol Science Centre where science, art and nature are brought thrillingly to life”
At-Bristol opened in 2000 and is one of the UK’s leading science and discovery centres. It is an educational visitor destination in Bristol’s historic Harbourside housing ‘All About Us’, the hands on science centre and a ‘3D Planetarium’ with seasonal star shows. Both children and adults will enjoy these venues.
‘All About Us’ has the best of hands on activities and the latest multi media techniques. Science is brought alive through stunning visuals and over 170 interactive experiences.
For seasonal night sky shows, visit ‘The Digital 3D Planetarium’ with its immense domed screen. Sit back and discover the coloured stars, giant planets and constellations in the night skies. Suitable for all ages over 5 years. There is a small fee applicable. Tickets need to be booked at the Booking Office on arrival or may be purchased online.
Outside At-Bristol are ‘open spaces’ especially designed to offer plenty of areas to allow visitors to sit and relax and enjoy the views. There, in the magnificent squares and landscaped open spaces, visitors will find cafés and bars plus water and light features. This is an ideal area to enjoy a cup of coffee and recover before visiting the historic Harbourside and possibly the SS Great Britain.
