The museum is housed in a restored Georgian house in Bennett Street, Bath a few yards from The Circus. 
 
The museum has only been established since 1993 but it houses the most extensive collection of Southeast Asian art outside of London. It has almost 2,000 objects dating from 5000 BC to the present day.
 
The collection includes ceramics, jades, bronzes, fine bamboo carvings and much more from China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.

Getting There
It is quite a good uphill walk to The Circus and Bennett Street, so use your Open-Top Bus Tour ticket and alight at ‘The Circus’ stop.
