The Fashion Museum, lately known as the Museum of Costume, is located in the magnificent Bath Assembly Rooms in Bennett Street, leading off The Circus.
The history of fashion is traced by period displays of original costumes from the 16th century to the present. It holds the world’s largest collection of fashion, displayed against settings of Bath. Also on display are in excess of 1,000 accessories and pieces of jewellry dating from Tudor times.

Wheelchair access is provided together with ground floor disabled toilet facilities. A “T” switch attachment for the audio guide is available for visitors with hearing difficulties. Audio guide is available. There is a lift to the other floors housing the Assembly Rooms.
The Assembly Rooms Café serves hot and cold refreshments.
